Hi,

Can any one put me in touch with a glazier/window fitter etc etc. OH is very concerned on job/wages front (I am the laid back one!!!!!). We are looking at Australia (currently in Cyprus, moving back to uk in 4 weeks having been out here for 1 year yatter,yatter, yatter....will try and keep this brief). OH hates it here cos of the job/wages, and wants to make sure we don't make the same mistake twice. Add to the fact that we have 3 kids (10,8 and2), you'll understand why we have to get this right......... this time!

We are sure we made the right decision to leave the UK, just picked the wrong place....trust me we ARE that unlucky.

Am a bit new here as well, so am not sure (despite trying) how to 'search' threads etc.

ANY help/advice will be gratefully received, as oh's job (flat glass trades person) is on the skills list BUT not on the modl. So are not sure which visa to get. My dad has just been granted his visa to Oz, and will be moving to Tas next year, not sure if this makes a difference to any visa application.

HUUUUGE list of glazing companies. A few emails or phone calls might put you on the right track.

Plenty of trades opportunities in OZ. Perth's probably the busiest city at the moment but cities like Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane are much bigger.

Perth probably offers a much better lifestyle though for a young family. If your dad's going to Tassy Melbourne is probably where you should be looking. if you want to be close.
