Hi Buster,
Me the hubster are just fine. Just about to move house ( from Hampton to Brighton ) so pritty busy at the mo. Going home to Scotland in 10 weeks for a short holiday.
I HAVE been looking for a curry house which would suit everybody but as usual it never works that way.

Gotta stick with the old Bala Da Dabah suggestion I'm afraid. Everyone enjoyed it last time. Infact we were all the last to leave! Plenty of booze was enjoyed ( it's BYO ) and it was extremely reasonable in price. ALSO, it was very typical of a UK Indian which I think was great for a meet.
So, hey - why fix it if it aint broke?
That's my suggestion for the day, folks.

Whereabouts is this Pearly? Is it within walking distance of a Frankston line train station? I can't find it on the web!

So is the venue in Frankston?

If so, we will have to pass on it, as it adds to the babysitter hassle for us!
Maybe next time!

No, Buzzy, it's on the Sandringham line. The restaurant is across the road from Ripponlea station.
If coming from "Franger" ( ;o) ) you'd get off at South Yarra and jump on the Sandringham train, get off at the ?4th stop-Ripponlea, and that's it.
Too easy!
It was just a suggestion though - lets get some more from folks in the know. I only know two good Indian restaurants here and they are both around where I live ( not in Frankston I'm afraid )

OK but by the Frankston line I was including South Yarra, Malvern, Toorak etc.

I'll find somewhere.

Sounds good but those Quarantine guys would confiscate it or let the courier eat the lot at the airport....

Margaret3 never said she was going to the curry nite, she just suggested a place as there were not many suggestions going on, there were 2 nights out in a row, and i said i would probably not make both as shazzmac had organised a nite out, i defnately did not confirm i am not in the habit of doing somehting like this.
