WBB May 7th 2004 6:15 pm

cheers guys, i was worried i would come on here and nobody would remember me  :D

so it seems badge has retired, big ron has quit and hevs has burned her morning toast?

i need to know more!

anyway, as promised here follows a rundown of our trip.

we arrived after 36 hours (door to door) in bris and spent the first 3 days in a jet lag type coma, waking up at 4 in the morning and back in bed before dark!

we hit the gold coast (once we felt ready) and spent a while just relaxing and swigging a few beers, eating out and strolling down the beach........(insert obligatory rose tinted put down here) after a week we decided we should actually look at house's and/or land and we found a few little gems, house prices are defo on the way down and i think (no shit sherlock!!!) the time to buy will be later this year or early 2005, anyway, we visited my uncle in sydney and did the other usual touristy things, currumbin wildlife sanctuary, australia zoo, sea world etc etc.....the woman at the car hire place nearly keeled over when i returned the car 7000k's added :scared:

we are now in the throws of PHD (post holiday depression) and are counting the days until we get back out there for good, this may not be as long as we first thought as things have moved in our favour, more on this later.

BTW, has anyone started the bring back badge campaign yet?
