is it just me or is the 24hr clock not used as much in oz? its gets on my nerves how they write 0200pm for example, it makes me have to use my brain a bit more:eek:

Don't know there's any difference to be honest. I found people rarely used it in the UK unless they had a services/brigade background. I still use it constantly and never had any queries as to what I mean.

It's you. Where I work it's used all the time.

Not just you. Really annoys me, I used to use it instinctively back home, both in the police and in the flying community. Over here government convention (in Qld at least) is to use the 12 hour clock for official reports and it does get on my wick. So much easier to use the 24 hour and forget the am and pm stuff.
