23yr old Lad, Moving out to Brisbane from Uk in Feb
I'm headed out in a month or so to get away from the rustle and bustle of the Uk . I have one or two friends out there i will be meeting but looking to meet like minded people.
I am a personal trainer and will be looking to start up once I arrive. I love sport especially Football, Boxing etc.
I'm a typical lad that's up for a laugh, but not the Brits abroad Football shirt type! Going out and meeting new people will definitely be on the cards so If anyone is out there that wants a good laugh then get in tough.
I will forward FB details if anyone is around end of feb.
Cheers.

Hey Adi, let me know if you're keen to watch some football, the lads I go with are mostly ex-pats. We usually have a pint and a few laughs, even if the football isn't always great.

I went to Brisbane on a week off and had a great time (I'm 24). I would say that Brisbane was my favourite Aus City (I've visited Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney). If you're into Football then go and see Brisbane and have a few beers at the Caxton, you'll deffo meet people in there...I did anyway ha

Troy thanks that would be great. Are you living in Brisbane permanently or on a Holiday Visa?
I arrive end of Feb so will definitely give you a shout.

Dan thanks for the advice will also check that place out. Cant wait to get out there! The UK is a massive struggle during the winter! expecting snow tomorrow!

Always interested in helping people make some connections though. The people I go to games with are a mix of Australians, English, Scots, Welsh, Northern-Irish mostly, and we're always happy to make people feel welcome.
Let us know when you're in town and keen to head out to a game.
