I have opportunities for welders in Mackay Qld being sponsored on a 457 visa.

If you're interested please send me a private message.

I'll need a detailed CV showing the equipment you can use, items you've worked on and typical guage of steel you've worked with.

I'll also need a scanned copy of your certificates.

Hello 6G

You could come over on a student work visa. This will give you at least 12 months to work in Australia.

If you do come over on this Visa I would try the small to medium size employers. I work for quite a large fab company and they won't take any one who hasn't got a full visa.

The best route is to apply for a skilled visa, it might take a while but you will not be beholding to the whims of a sponsored employer.

Sorry Dot

I'm not sure what it's called now but it's the visa for under 30 year olds to gain work expereience in Oz.

It was originally intended for students finishing their studies and before they started work.

Normally they just doss aboot finding themselves. Im sure 6G will be above all that.
