NZ more prosperous than America? I find that very hard to believe!

I think the fact that the US spent more than twice per person than the UK and Australia did incorrectly influenced the result - they have measured an input to the health system as an output.
Not sure how the other prosperity indicators stack up.

Ah, so that includes the huge amounts the average joe has to spend on health insurance????? but doesn't consider that half the population has no cover at all????

The way their system is structured leads to very high costs which go into private companies pockets.

No, not the cost to the individual....but how much the US govt pays per person in public funds. Despite having no universal cover the US govt spends twice as much per person.
