our friends assured me that you can get a lot into a 20ft container, but I must admit when I look at the amount of stuff we have I worry too :p

we had a 3 bed semi and 2 kids worth of paraphenalia  , and a missus with a lurve of clothes and shoes  ,...and of furniture e.g. went out the day before the shippers came and came home saying to me 'i've bought you a present' it was a brown leather settee and sofa :scared:

20 ft was enough cos these guys are experts (we used doree bonner) at packing and most things can be un/dis-assembled (taken apart) - hope that helps, good luck :)

We used PSS and had a 20ft container and everything from our 3 bedroom house went in it. Mind you we did have a major clear out as well and sold a fair bit of stuff. The only thing I can suggest is that you make a list of anything that can be left until the very end to get packed, if there's room you take it with you, if not give it away or sell it! Good luck.

Oh my god! the container looks so small but you would never believe the amount they get in. We had Crown in this week. I thought it all would not fit but did and still some space left. It was like a Tardis

Hi

I have just had Robinsons and PSS around for estimate, PSS say we will get everything into a 20 footer, Robinsons say we wont and have about the same as 40 tea chests extra. Talk about dilema. Have decided to get two more in Britannia and Blatchpack.

Has anybody else had this happen and what was the outcome?

Steve

Thanks anyway rpa34
