2 year mark has arrived
 

Well tomorrow the 23rd anyway, but i will be at work so thought i would post today.
Yes tomorrow we have been in Perth 2 years, boy did that go fast.
We have had bad times, and some even worse times but we have also had some great times to. Its taken a while for me to actually settle, but when i started to, i found how much i really do enjoy living here. We have some great friends Australian, south african, scottish, british the lot and a great bunch they are, and yes the ones off here are great to like maggy,siren, chrisitina, jill, theresa,mairi, simone, sunchaser, yvsie, sophia, my mate dianeoz they have all helped in way or another to get me through bad days and i do the same in return or if i havent i will at some point. Thanks guys love you all :D
On the whole though this is the place we will be settling in, this is home now.
We are busy filling out our forms for the citizenship ceremony so that should be interesting.
All i can say is stick with it , get past 2 years and things should get easier, i still miss family something that will never go away, but the sadness gets a bit more bearable.
Anyway summer is coming yessssss and the pole dancing girls have a night out soon :D , yes i love it here.

Well done on the 2 year mark - we been here 8 weeks and so far love it but will take each day as it comes.

Speaking of DianeOz and Sophia, would be great if they could come on Sunday! They're never on here anymore, are you still in contact with them?
Tell them Yvsie's going to, they know her don't they?, so that'll help :D

Congratulations Jo, it'll be our turn in January, probably around same time as Renth.

Saw Shawnie at Mawson Park today, was waving at her furiously (couldn't haul my bulk off the chair to actually go over to her) but she didn't see me (or was too embarrased cos she was with her mates) :)

Simone, dont get on here much now that I'm not working but Jo keeps me up to date with the antics of all you guys. Have a great time tomorrow and I'm sure Yvsie will have a drinkie on my behalf :)

Well done Jopaulss on reaching the 2yr mark.....We arrived the same day as Billabong (8wks) and it finally feels likes things are coming together !

I'm currently applying my plumbing skills at the new southport hospital ( think thats proper English )
