Or that's how it feels sometimes.
6 weeks till the flight out of here, and the sodding housebuyer has just pulled out. And my mortgage company doesn't grant 'consent to let', so if I do want to let it out I have to arrange a new mortgage.

I hate the UK house selling system for that very reason.
Our house is going on the market on Monday and the same could happen to us.
Hope you get another buyer soon.
