Default 1st timer

Hello all...well i thought i may as well join up and see if i could get some info. and maybe pass on some experiences
Basically my wife and i have submitted the papers and waiting to hear the outcome, and hopefully if all goes to plan be moving out to Oz later in the year.

We are both in IT at the moment and I was wondering if anyone could tell me the state of the IT job market in Brisbane ?

I wont be too heart broken if there's not many IT jobs, as formerly I worked on the buildings and would be quite happy doing plumbing or dry lining.

Also Im planning to do a rekki at the end of the month for 2 weeks and wouldnt mind some pointers regarding brissy...ie any areas that I should avoid or dodgy areas where you wouldnt want to live ?

Many thanks

C

Welcome to the forum mate

Was talking to someone in Brisbane this week and he said the IT industry was currently very buoyant there.
