Default 1st Thread from Brissie

Hi All.

This is the 1st real opportunity we've had to post a thread since arriving in Brissie on the 5th November.

We had 10 days in the city ( Spring Hill ) when we 1st arrived but we are currently renting a property in Redland Bay.
We initially had a look at Morningside and Norman Park because they were easily accessable from the train line. We liked both areas and made appointments to view some properties.
Later that same day we went down to the "Golden Mile" to try and find some wheels ( Tip:When prowling the car lots take plenty of water, because it is very time consuming and there is'nt much shade ). We found a car we liked at a good price and decided to buy.
It would take a couple of days for our money to be transferred from the UK and we expected to be going back home on the train, but oh no ! they lent us a car FOR FREE !!!! how good is that ??

The salesman lived in Wellington Point and suggested we have a look on the Bayside. So we drove over and immediately and knew that we had to live in this area.
Cleveland, Victoria Point, Welly Point, Redland Bay are all beautiful places with loads to offer. Good shopping facilities and lovely parklands and coastal areas.

It would be nice to hear from any other Baysiders, and maybe meet up on a weekend for a Drink or eats.

Bye for now and we'll keep you posted on our progress
