We have just sent our application to oz on tuesday. I know there's a long wait ahead of us but does anyone know of a rough timescale for visas being granted. Should we accept the fact that we'll still be in scotland for xmas this year?

And also check out www.austimeline.com to see how other 138s are doing. We waited 7.5 months for our AoS request so I would seriuosly recommend doing something fun in the next 6 months as the waiting can get to you if you just hang around your computer all the time. Regards being in Scotland for Xmas, depends if you can make a quick exit as soon after visa grant as poss. It might be possible. Good luck and keep us posted.
