Default 136 Visa - timeline ?

Anyone have a rough idea of current time period involved in getting a Skilled Independent 136 Visa ?

Is it still at 50 weeks or are things speeding up ?

Cheers.

I think it is still 50 weeks, but dimia have been getting through the post med visa grants quite quickly. think it will still take a loooooooooooong time from application to med requests.

We're on a 136 visa and our agent still says DIMIA are quoting 50 weeks but it looks like they are working on Julys applications which would mean they are a little ahead at the moment....we hope!!

Hope so, we're doing our meds unrequested on the 25th in the hope that we may get in before the end of year quota at the end of June

we arent putting the house on the market to raise the bond. the building society released a bit of the equity to us and £42,500 is sitting in our account waiting to whizz its way to Adelaide when requested.
