Our flight lands in Singapore at 9am their time and our connection flight to Adelaide doesn't leave until 11.30 pm that day ..!!!

So come on you lot, let me know what we can do in these hours...

We thought about booking into the airport hotel and crashing out for a few hours..has anyone done this and how much did it cost..

We are planning to take our little one to the swimming pool there - something she loves but also to tire her out for the connecting flight.

or a bus tour?

Its very basic but a comfy bed & a shower are hard to turn down!

Free internet access in the main hall and also big screen TV - when we were last there in 2003 they were showing international football all the time!

AFAIK at the airport - the airport has its own website with details of facilities, would put a link in but got to go now...........

If you'd like asauna to chill you out, just step outside the airport doors - god it was hot and humid when we were there

Do an early baggage check in then visit the city or the zoo then go back for your flight. They have arranged tours for people in your situation

First get off the plane and head straight for the massage chairs - 10 sing dollars for 15mins of fab massage from head to toe to relax you after the flight.

Secondly book for the free city tour. They start at 10am and take a couple of hours and you get to see all the main bits of the city.

Third, go back to the airport hotel and take advantage of a room and the pool, gym etc.

Don't forget to leave a couple of hours for wandering around the airport. It is lovely (well as lovely as an airport can get) there are indoor gardens, streams with fishes. The shops are lovely and there are internet posts all over the place which give free access.

Also good range of foods up on the mezzanine floor.

There are working travelators everywhere so getting to your departure gate only takes a few minutes.
