Could you anybody give some idea for the following


We have invested 100k capital investement for 5 bonus point in Govt. Tressurey Bank in Adeliade. Since 1 year is completed there is no letter or email received from the Bank.

We need to widthraw as soon as possible, as the private bank interest is higher for each month. Do we need to write them or call them to release the cheque.

sorry but i dont think this really helps but we done the same sort of thing but with the NSW government and after 6mths we received an interest cheque then after 12 mths we received our k100000 back with another 6 mths interest automatically.dont know whether it was affected by the fact that they were just depositing it in an australian account we had already set up . good luck regards bobby

We have just been given our 100K + 2nd lot of interest back ... we didnt have to do anything. Did you write to them informing of your new address and your australian account number ?? assuming you must have it will automatically be paid into your bank account when it is due back. If you are absolutely sure they are late then I would definately give them a ring.

You should definitely ring them and find out where it is and whats happening with it

In fact I do not have any account in Australia. What they did for first installment of interest was given a cheque via postal address.

Do I need to open an Australian A/c for them to depoist 100k + 6mths . Or Do they send it to me by Cheque as what did before.

Anyway I will wait for bit more time and if no response then I will give a ring.

they will post you a cheque if you havent setup an account for htem to put it in and told them.

How long would it be taken to send us a cheque? Is it just after the completion period (1 year)? Or shoudl I wait for one month? My case is almost going to be 3 weeks after the date expire.

You are obviously worrying about this so PHONE them ... they are very helpful and will tell you exactly what is happening with your money and will put your mind at rest

depends on the interest rate at the time - I think we got about 5000 (in total)
