Well the new house we're in is friggin' freezing in the winter and red hot in the anything above 20 degree's so i dont think much to the 'insulation'

New builds -Steel frames with a single thin sheet of glass- I ask you -lol.
Mind you, even the window manufacturing is a monopoly in W.A I believe.

expect the aussie dollar to be stronger , british figures show economy contracted by 0.4% ,worse than expected .3 quid to the aussie dollar by end of 2010 , my prediction .Mass hysteria from cashed up poms movring back to buy mansions they could never afford thus achieving the ''dream and change of lifestyle overnight ''

Being that:
- the houses occupy so much of the land site, they can not be more than a arms length from the boundary.
- the amount you loose in build depreciation versus land appreciation will force similar budget cutbacks.
Smart money is and will always be on land well located to infrastructure or natural amenities.
I think I will now encourage people to move west or to new housing estates.
Then I will be assured more room
