Sounds about right for the job you were talking about if it were permanent. For contracting it sucks.

No it's permanent and it would mean I have a job as soon as I arrive. I just want to get there a have a least a fair standard of living

Well, ideally I'd like a 3 bed semi in a relatively nice suburb, hopefully we'll have $250,000 from our house sale which should enable a bit of living money until we buy a property. If we live as well as we do now I'd be happy.

That is some of the ugliest paving I have ever seen. I'd be in danger of puking whilst walking to the doorway.
