$100,000 Bond for points

Hi all
Thanks for the replies to our last post,a bit of reassurance is so helpful!

We are going to have to put $100,000 in to a bond to gain our extra points,does anybody know anything about the investment or when the interest is paid, ie monthly or yearly etc?

Bonds are issued by State/Territory authorities in Australia. Details
are in the Skilled Migration booklet.
