Re: HAPPY HOUR
Very impressive indeed, perhaps as it should always be?

Re: HAPPY HOUR
Thanks Lorna, hope your trip was successful, and the kids enjoyed it. Mine became a disaster. A week before I was due to leave bruv 2 had a heart attack, and the visit became a commuting marathon between hospitals in South Lakes and Lancaster; and a quick visit to North Wales. On the positive side, did manage to catch up with grandaughter who was visiting Manchester. On returning home, found nonna with a severe gut infection, which I soon caught, and we spent 20 days of misery in splendid isolation quaffing antibiotics
and stuff. Sons 2 and 3 helped as much as they could within their time limits.
We recovered totally thanks to our brilliant family doctor just in time for Ferragosto. Now building up our severely drained strengths with daily walks round the village, and back to normal diet
Ciao for now, and keep smiling.

Chloe has just returned from a five day school trip. After a dozen warnings and a huge lecture about being careful, being young adults and responsible for their own belongings - the teacher's handbag got stolen on day one!

Cheers Ononno and to everybody else. I'm just about to sit down to a big dish of Irish stew and colcannon. Been looking forward to it all morning even if I did have to make it myself. Slainte.

Re: HAPPY HOUR
Earlier tonight I was driving home on fairly, quiet, residential streets when I saw a black, shadowy herd of something in the road. Getting a little closer, I could see that the herd was a group of lads. Perhaps they were all saying goodbye out in the street after a pizza night or something? Whatever. But they were all out in the road so I flashed my high beam headlights to let them know I was approaching and to let them get out of my way. Not one of those lads moved. They didn't move as I got even closer. So I pulled up in first gear in front of the crowd and then revved up my car like a Formula 1 driver and hit the accelerator. I knew I had my other foot on the brake but they didn't. Little ****ing twats. My own kids are part of today's generation and the Millenium generation but I hope they aren't so ****ing bastard stupid or so "we don't give a shit so get ****ed". Those little twats soon jumped when they thought I was going to plough into them ..... and then of course they all gave me the finger and screamed obscenities at me as I drove away. I beeped my horn ........ nah nah na na nah. Then my son got a lecture about not being a little twat.

So many years here and I still can't go to the pool and not wonder why so many old men still prefer budgie smugglers and then sit on a lounger, legs open, newspaper open and the meat and two veg slipping out? Why?

Re: HAPPY HOUR
The holiday park has a clothes optional month so around then I don't walk there as you never know what might pop out of the dunes.
