Favourite TV ads ?
Well, we've got an interesting discussion going on about crap ads and tv. But what are your favourites?. Shock horror will be expressed I know, but I love the Corrie meerkats.

Re: Favourite TV ads ?
Meerkats became very popular in the UK 20 years or so ago.
I couldn't help thinking that part of the reason for their popularity was that they were seen as an antidote to a selfish me-me-me society which Thatcher and her heirs had created. Many people warmed to them appearing to live a chilled life looking out for each other. A creature which stood up against the "no such thing as society" credo. I saw some meerkats at a wondrous country fair at the weekend.
On Italian ads, I always had a soft spot for an ad that used to run in Sardinia advertising tomatoes. Possible that it still does/is taking a rest. No shrieking over-excited guff, no grinning gurning family shouting excitedly round a table because it's tomato day.
It was just a bit of film about a young woman (attractive but not in that plastic Italian veline look) in a flowing red dress cycling through the countryside.
Attractive natural looking women, bicycles, tomatoes- what's not to like?
