Daytime TV
As i have a few more days before I go back to work I am sat here watching the dreaded italian tv. At the mo am watching a programme (admittedly an americanata) about coupon shopping. People who go shopping and spend about $1,000 and only have to give the supermarket about 10 dollars
It made me think - can you imagine going to a supermarket here and doing something similar ? I know the small supermarket where I go they usually tut if you have a couple of coupons, or the till blocks or something like that.
Mind you - these women I'm watching have enough razors and toothbrushes for about 25 years. Enough - I must NOT watch this stuff any more - I'm going to ring my boss immediately and beg to go back earlier. Normally I watch English tv on filmon but cant do that and come on forum at the same time

Re: Daytime TV
I've seen that programme on Sky. They have files and files of coupons and garages or basements with 1500 shampoo bottles, 2000 toilet rolls and 560 jars of peanut butter. Makes you wonder why they carry on and not start using what they already have.
Sometimes I leave the TV on as background noise when I'm doing other jobs, but only if it's in English. When I was on maternity leave and before Sky TV, I tried to watch Italian daytime TV but soon got sick of Uomini e Donne, Forum and Beautiful. Every so often I flip back to Italian TV to see what's on and I'm always amazed to see that over 10 years later, it's the same bloody programmes.
Mind you, I couldn't stand watching English daytime TV either. No Good Morning Britain for me or Jeremy Kyle.
