Where are you going for Christmas?
Hi Everyone,
Merry Christmas to you all. We are having a stay at home Christmas this year. No visitors, just me hubby, son and the dog. What about you? Are you going anywhere for Christmas, or celebrating at home?

London - hopefully. I fly from Jo'burg on Christmas Day, leave Heathrow on New Year's Eve. Cheap flights, and I get to spend the days around Christmas and New year with lots of family - it's an overnight flight which is great. Go to sleep in summer, wake up with marbles where my testicles used to be 
I just hope the forecast 2cms of snow doesn't fall or Heathrow will be closed until May.

Safe travels all. I am home for Christmas but heading out to Las Vegas for new year. It will actually be a welcome break as I have had a houseful streaming in and out of my house for the past few weeks and my domestic skills are in overdrive. Looking forward to being wined and dined by my beloved and friends, and catching a show or two before moving my daughter to her new abode. She has just graduated from Uni so it is a double celebration for us.

Stuck in the UK and unable to go home (Gambia - flight full) so I went to Sri Lanka where I'm going to spend New Year and hopefully most of Jan.
Xmas on the beach - nothing complicated - just another day - but not another day of icy UK weather.

Well, we are being hammered with snow. We were heading to Vegas but the roads are in pretty bad shape so we try again tomorrow. Sick of winter and we have just started.
