I would guess the world cup has a lot to do with it. As mentioned here recently, the government's (continued) silence regarding Libya is pretty shameful....

As for Gadaffi, I am looking forward to his African Union buddies hugging and kissing him again when they next meet.
Did you read what a disaster, economically, the world cup was for SA? Not, of course, that the soccer-loving mob would have noticed.
Incidentally, I read that Zuma's plan to overcome SA's chronic unemployment is to increase affirmative action. Good luck with that.

I remember reading in The Economist many months ago about how Zuma was modelling his economy on China and India (and Brazil) and looking for increased reliance on those countries, than the traditional western colonial powerhouses.
The truth it seems, as shouldn't be surprising, is that Zuma et al are looking towards China not so much for economy reasons, but rather for government interventionalist ideals (ie: thats sticking their noses into mine & your affairs, and taking money from us).

African governments think they're being very clever. Some are now starting to realise their mistake.

Did you think my post was agreeing with the report? Did you? Really? Read it again, then come back and redo standard 4, then read it again.
Actually, don't. BE has been quite pleasant without your trolling.
