Anyone in Nairobi? Got contacted for a potential job in Nairobi which looks fairly aligned to my background. I have in the past both spent time and worked in Kenya, though this was Mombasa. I was there last in 2001.
Any pointers on cost of living which are realistic?
The job will be in Tatu city, so guessing I'd be living there too if possible. I know of Tatu City going back a decade or so, but haven't followed progress on development since.
Security situation. Is crime still as it was 2 decades ago? Worse or better? I'd be bringing my wife and our 2 young children who've never been to Africa at all, unlike me who grew up in Mozambique in the 80's so experienced some of the rougher sides of life in Africa already.
