Missing Cape Town.

So missing Cape Town soooo much after growing up in the most beutiful Country on earth, the family took me away to Oz :confused:almost 6 years ago and I really am homesick but know I can never really return except for holidays, all my family are in England and Oz now.

I miss my friends at Surf Zone and Off the wall is a special spot for me for ever:(

Ya, well, you're in good company on here. I think most on here would agree it broke our hearts to leave SA, but it's not the same country that we all grew up in and had those good times in. It's a different place now and I only wish I'd faced up to reality earlier.

Now that you're in the UK, do what Europeans love doing... travel, explore, do all the things you couldn't have done in SA or OZ, get out there. You'll love it. Go see America. I guarantee you'll find equally beautiful countries, some, many in fact, even more so.

P.S. Your family did the right thing you know, for them and you, to keep you safe.

To be honest I do not want to go back to Oz, only for family, really enjoying UK at the moment and it just seems so much, how can I put it "alive" mind you I was in Perth:thumbdown: after Cape Town Perth is Kak.

Ya, I've heard. Perth seems quite a bone of contention on these forums and crops up high in the dullsville table!

Welcome to BE Kappie. :) I see you have our boys as your avatar.

Pity you weren't around during the World Cup a few months ago - Percy was my avatar of choice for weeks ;)

At least you won't get murdered for your surfboard or cellphone :D

Look on the brightside, you can apply for jobs that in SA are reserved for AA and BE.
