Default Medical cover for Sierra Leone

I'm a UK doctor moving to Sierra Leone with my partner for a year.

Sorry for the boring question, but I've been looking around for medical cover for the year.

We only need a package for emergencies/serious problems, as I can handle the GP type stuff myself. We are both young and healthy.

We have been quoted around 500 pounds each from a big company - does that seem reasonable to other people or should I shop around more thoroughly?

Thanks for any help!

Emily
