Life in Libya
 

I have tried this in the Middle East section, but it was suggested that Africa might be best!

What is the quality of life like in Libya?

For example, are there sailing clubs on the coast? Is there decent mobile internet? Which ISP? What about food for veggies? Is it a good place to buy computer equipment?

That sort of thing.

I live in Libya, and very happy to help you. about the sailing clubs, not yet in Libya.
regarding the mobile internet, there is a 'wimax' from Libyan Telecom and Technology company, and this costs about £200 a year.

also soon there is another service will be provided by Libyan mobile phones company. and called LibyanaNet (prices not known yet)

computers are ok to buy from libya. there are good distributers like Dell, LG, Toshiba.

Hey There,

Is there any chance you could tell me much about what foods i'll able get hold of in Libya that i eat back here in the UK?, Its alright i bin offered a job working away in Libya for three months a time, and im quite a fussy eater, would be very greatful if i could get more info on this... :)
