Check out Kyalami Estate for a safe place to live.
When I lived there it was very secure.

Nice place but traffics poop that way now. Not enough road to support the amount of people living there.

Hey Maddy, long time!

This applies everywhere. If I take my car to Woodmead (having dropped the kids at school) it takes me 90 minutes, and its only 16km. I could jog it in that time...

Bring in tolls!!

Olivedale to Woodmead

It's beyond a joke now. If I take the bike it takes 15 minutes....there are a few reasons for this:

1. Too many cars, not enough public transport
2. Lane discipline doesn't exist.
3. Too many selfish drivers pushing in 10 metres before the offramp
4. Traffic lights are often broken, cops are trapping rather than directing traffic

The bike is wonderful - but dangerous. I always kiss the ground when I get to work - and pray it doesn't rain. Joburg drivers' brains are solar-powered. If it rains, they turn to mush.
