The March 2008 Quarterly Employment Statistics (QES) survey showed that the number of people employed in the formal non-agricultural business sector of the South African economy increased by about 8 000 persons (or +0,1%) from December 2007 (an estimated 8 410 000 employees) to March 2008 (an estimated 8 418 000 employees"

And the current Non-oppressive Government have'nt achieved raving successes either.
I refer specifically to SETAS , to Adult Literacy, to job creation.
Lets not forget that the NATs kept a large number of the working population firmly excluded from the formal non-agricultural business sector.

The OHS/LFS surveys in 1995 indicated that private formal sector non-agricultural jobs was sitting at 5.5 million to the 8.4 million we're sitting at currently is nothing to scoff at.
In S.A you guys would know that many households make their living from the informal business sector anyway ...where would we account for hawkers ,taxi drivers, maids ,gardeners etc.
What about the agricultural sector jobs youre excluding. We produce 3.3 percent of the worlds wines, were the 3rd largest wine producer in the
world.

And I can state without much fear of contradiction that I am the worlds largest consumer of S.A. wines .... I wonder if Thabo will give me a medal.
