Default Immigration Companies

My family and I are considering moving to South Africa. We are looking at various immigration companies, but some have had really bad press in the UK. Would anyone be able to provide a recommendation for a company they have successfully used to move to SA? When you look through at all of the various companies it seems to be such a minefield and this being such a possibly massive step we need to make sure everything is right and goes well. Any assistance would be gratefully received!

Hi Bexter, welcome to BE.

Can you confirm in what capacity you want to go to SA? Work, retirement, ancestral or returning home? There are limited options, but someone will be able to point you in the right direction if you can confirm what your motivation for moving is.

Good luck,

Ed

Hi Ed,

We're looking at potentially going on a business visa. We've seen a property with a lot of land, and our intention was to put two properties on the land to rent out as self catering holiday lets. My understanding is that my husband would go on a business visa with myself and my son going with him as dependants.

Thanks

Ok, and you've been to the SA government home affairs website? It's pretty comprehensive. Certainly more helpful than the department itself. I don't know of any business-related immigration experts, but I believe there is a minimum investment (which given the rands value lately won't be very high!).
