Default Father born in Northern Rhodesia > Passport Options?

Hi All,

New to the forums and tried searching for my situation before asking a question but couldnt find an answer so I thought Id make a thread.

I am wondering if I am eligible for a passport either UK, Zambian or South African, UK is ideal but any secondary and I mean any is ok.

Here is the history, my father was born in Northern Rhodesia in 1958 to (what I know) were Canadian citizens by birth. Father resided in NR for 10 years before moving back to Canada. To my knowledge he was temporarily stateless but naturalized as a Canadian born abroad at some point. He is currently a Canadian citizen.

I have his birth record filled out by the NR authorities in terms of paperwork and that is about it.

I am wondering is he eligible for a zambian, UK or Sout African passport, and in turn am I eligible for a heritage passport (any country regardless) ?

TIf you have any questions please ask.

Thank you
