Hi Mates,

I am planning migrate to AUS. I secured IELTS 7 band in each module and i have more than 3 years experience in designated occupation but less than 5 years. My occupation is there in demand list of 4 states.

I understand that i need to get 65 points to apply under 175. But currently i got only 60 point. Is it possible get that extra 5 points by applying for state sponsorship? I have read ,some where, that even for SS the eligibility is 65 points. Does it mean that for applying SS itself requires 65 points?

Another option is that i can get IELST 8 in each module so that i can get extra 10 points which makes the points 70.

I am just confused that should i go for SS or again appearing IELTS targetting 8 band. I am not sure and confident about achieving Band 8 in IELTS.

Folks, pls give me your valuable suggestions.
