Financial Modelling partnership in Perth ?

Hi folks, I have recently emigrated to Perth (Australia) from the UK. After many years working hard for a large company, and gaining great experience in excel / financial modelling, I am thinking about setting up my own business in Perth, to offer excel services, such as:-
* reporting packages
* financial models
* VBA programming
* any excel 121 support

There are many many disadvantages, as well as advantages. One of the many disadvantages, if not the biggest, is that I do not have local knowledge, and wondering whether it would be better to try and find a like-minded individual (who has local knowledge) and set up a partnership.

Has anyone got any advice (good or bad) regarding my thoughts ? And has anyone got any views on whether they would be interested in this move also ?

Dont you think the small size of your company will make you uncompetitive in a country like australia? , where most industries are oligopolies

However, my adivse would be to go for it. Competition is always good and oppurutinities always exist for smaller players to exploit
