Hey everyone,

I'm currently holding 2 valid sets of IELTS results , one academic IELTS with 7.5+ in each category , one general IELTS with 8+ in each category .

I understand that my academic results would cover me to get a positive skill assessment with CA or CPA Australia as an Accountant (General), but I need the extra 10 points the general training results give me to attain the 65 pts pass mark in the visa 885 points system ( i'm still eligible to apply through that until january)

What i'm hoping to do is use my academic results to get my assesment , then lodge my application using my general training results ?

My migration agent says ok , immigration gave me positive responses , i'm waiting from a written confirmation atm.

Has anyone experienced the same problem and could give me some advice ?

You have already been told it is ok by a migration agent and by immigration themselves. What is there to add? There is no problem here.

I am in the same situation with you and wondering the same question. Could you please tell us if you received the written confirmation from immigration office?
