Big 4 Audit Position, Dubai
 

Hi,

I'm hoping for some advice.

I've recently qualifed (CA) with one of the Big 4 in the UK and have the opportunity to move out with the same firm to work in Dubai - this would be in audit also. I currently specialise in Oil & Gas.

Does anyone have advice or similar experience? i.e. Pay / conditions, or is this is good idea in terms of career progression and experience?

I've been to Dubai before and have friends that work there and I really like the place.

Any advice etc would be well appreciated.

I don't know anything about Dubai, but I am a 20 years time served accountant primarily in blue chip corporations and am used to recruiting and reading CVs!

So yes, as a career move, I think a spell in Dubai with a big 4 would be a positive to a CV. So if you have friends there and like the place, I wouldn't hesitate.

I am sure somebody will along with more information on Dubai shortly, otherwise you could try the Middle East forum.
