Any tips on how to secure job offer in Australia whilst living outside Australia
Hi,
With a bit of luck I will be applying for the 175 visa CSL in March 2009.
I was working in Australia in 2007 on a WHV and know the jobhunt can take months and in the current climate I would like to have a position waiting for me when I leave Ireland.
I am curious as to how other accountants on the forum managed to get job offers whilst living outside Australia.

Feedback I had in similar-ish circumstances was that no one will look at you until you are in the country.
I did register with several agencies' London-based International Candidate Managers. Ultimately all they did was pass on my CV to someone in the equivalent Australian office so I'm not sure there was much value add in the process.
