Accountancy work in schools in Australia
Hi,
I am looking to be accepted to work as a secondary school teacher in WA.
I would like, over time, to be able to take on some management responsibility (in the area of bookkeeping, accounting and finance), within a school.
How would I go about acquiring the relevant regulatory finance qualifications in order to be suitable for such extra management responsibilities?
Any advice would be very much appreciated as I have no idea how a schools finances are managed in Oz.
Kind Regards,
Gary

Many employers do demand such qualifications, however.
I would have thought it would be unusual for a teacher to take on clerical work such as book-keeping, except perhaps in a small school.
