Hi
Can anyone help with some advice, my husband owns house in uk he has lived in nz for 8 yrs now we need to sell the house, I know there are new laws out but can anyone tell if they gave done his and how you went about it. We were going back for 6 months as we were told if we lived there for 6 month we would not have to pay capital gains tax not sure if this us correct any help advice anyone who could help. We have spoken with accountants in uk but not much help so far.
