[edit] NAFTAUnder the North American Free Trade Agreement, there are provisions that make it easier for business people who are citizens of Canada, the United States and Mexico to gain temporary entry to each others' countries more quickly and easily. [edit] GATSUnder the General Agreement on Trade in Services, Canada has committed to making it easier for foreign service providers in certain sectors to access the Canadian market. The commitments apply to service providers from more than 140 World Trade Organization member countries. The GATS provisions cover three categories of business people:
