• The Expedited Labour Market Opinion (E-LMO) Pilot Project lists 33 occupations for which it is possible to obtain Labour Market Opinions (LMOs) within 5 working days of submitting an application.

• However, in order to obtain LMOs by this method, employers have to be registered with the E-LMO Pilot Project.

• Also, please note that the E-LMO Pilot Project has been set up for Alberta and British Columbia only.

• Once an employer has obtained an LMO, the prospective employee can apply for a temporary work permit.
