ViewsClimate, MEFrom WikiClimate The climate in Maine, during the summer, it can get very hot and especially humid, 70F- 110F and there are plenty of bugs, especially mozzies. During the winter, anything between -40F - 35F, with plenty of snow. The roads in busy areas are well ploughed though. The winter months are also long, lasting into end of March, April and May and this results in what is called "Mud Season" which can last from a couple weeks to 6 weeks, where the snow and ice melt, causing much of the state to go brown and be very wet. Rain isn't particularly heavy. |
