Suburbs

There are many different areas and suburbs in Charlotte which cater for every taste, every need and every budget.

Some of the higher priced areas are:-
Ardmore
West End
The 'South Park' Area
Ballantyne
Providence.

The above are renowned for the higher prices of the homes but also the higher quality of the public schools.

There are other areas of Charlotte that offer more moderately priced houses and are still in nice areas with good schools. In these type of areas you get more house for your money. Some of the areas are:-
Steele Creek
Matthews
Pineville
Lake Wylie (just over the border in South Carolina (SC) but only about 18 - 20 miles from Charlotte.

If you want to go a little farther out some nice "commuter" areas are:-
Tega Cay (SC)
Fort Mill (SC)
Lake Norman
Huntersville

The above is just a small sample of what Charlotte has to offer 'suburb' wise, but if you are looking to move to the area it will at least give you a starting point.
