Inter High School
http://www.interhigh.co.uk
Inter High School is a school which has been offering lessons over the internet since 2005. Students log on from their own home and take part in interactive lessons with other students and teachers.
Students require a good computer, an internet connection and a headset to enable them to hear and speak in lessons. Lessons can be accessed from any internet connection in the world enabling students to move to different towns or even countries and still maintain their education at the same school.
Inter High School website: www.interhigh.co.uk
A number of children based in Spain, Germany, India and Africa have already received lessons from Inter High.
There are already many groups of pupils for whom this type of education may be ideal such as: families working abroad; disabled students; overseas students, pupils excluded from state schools; families in remote areas; home educators who withdraw their pupils on religious or ethical grounds; families that desire private education but cannot afford expensive school fees; students scared to go to school due to bullying or threats.
