Lightbulb Sleep tech jobs in England?

Hi all,

I'm a trained sleep tech who is interested in working for the NHS. Besides a deep desire to move to England (the reasons are long and well thought out) I also think working in a lab for the NHS would be great. I've not worked in the field for awhile because my last two experiences have been horrible. Since anyone can open a lab it's become a real crap shoot when seeking a good, stable lab with no lunatic/drunk/felon employers. As a matter of sad fact, I recently applied for a position here locally (I've just recently moved to Las Vegas) and got a call right away. The woman asked if I could come in for an interview and then promptly gave me the wrong address to meet her!

Anyway, to shorten this up a bit, I'd really like to connect with other sleep techs already working for the NHS and to find out the hiring protocol.

I know there is no ideal or perfect workplace, but an established lab within a large system would sure beat a new lab opened because the owner heard it would make fast money!
