Default Qualifying as a lawyer in NZ advice please

Hi, I am just about to finish my law degree at a UK university.

My husband and I are definitely emigrating to NZ, but I'm not sure whether it would be better/simpler to qualify here (another 3 years), or convert my degree and qualify in NZ.

I'm in my mid 30s which does make it a little harder in the UK. Am I likely to encounter the same issues in NZ?

Ideally we would move there asap

Thanks
