Default academic librarian

Hello
Are there any academic librarians here who graduated from a uk university and have managed to find a job at an american university? I have worked in a number of academic libraries in london and am a trained teacher as well but getting itchy feet and keep thinking of working in the states for a bit.

have started looking at job ads but basically i do not see any other option apart from employer sponsorship and I am not sure if any US unis are willing to offer that option at the moment....

I've already read the thread on librarianship degree equivalency:
