working in TEFL in the Caribbean
Hi,
I am a UK citizen and ultimately would like to set up an English Language School (a franchise of our school in the UK) in the Caribbean. However, first I thought it might be wise to spend a few months teaching out there. Can anyone advise me on: a) how difficult it might be to get a temporary teaching job, and b) any steps I would need to take to set up a language school
Any help or advice much appreciated!

Hi there and welcome to the forum
If you go to the main forum page, you'll see a section for Rest of the World and beneath that a section for Caribbean, so do please post some questions in there.
Also on the main forum page, you can find a section on Working by Profession. You'll see a sub-forum for Teaching under that.
All the best with your research

Hello and a big welcome to BE.
Excellent information can be found in the BE Wiki, not forgetting the Living and Moving Abroad forum that will help you, another set of great help is the permanent threads at the TOP of each forum, they are very pertinent to that particular forum and makes sensible reading.
Moderators deal with any problems that arise such as inappropriate posts, spammers etc, you will find their names at the bottom right hand side of each forum's index in bold font.
Please contact me if I can give you any further help.
