UK to USA- settling in!
Hi everyone,
I'm Jamie, I've been in the USA for 4 months on a J1 visa, and got married just over 2 weeks ago to a USC who I met whilst working over here summer 2010! So looks like i'm staying...!
I'm just about to start the AOS & visa application, and i'm kinda terrified that i'll mess it up! My husband is in his final year at uni, (I graduated this summer) and I'll have to find a job as soon as my work permit comes through..
I'm sure i'll have a few questions along the way..
Bye for now!

Welcome to BE, congrats and good luck!
I'm sure you've found the marriage visa section by now, it's a great place to read over and find answers to questions as well as reading through the wiki

Congratulations of your marriage. I see you have already found your way into the US Marriage Based Visa forum...our members who post in that forum will help you out with your questions. If you haven't done so already...could you please read through the stickied threads that are posted at the top of the forum's index page?
I also suggest you take a look in the BE Wiki...there's lots of info in there. You may also like to take a look around the US Forums.
If you require any assistance finding your way around BE's many forums we have a team of concierges who will act as your tour guide...they will be pleased to help you. The concierge for the US forums is Kaffy Mintcake...please contact her if you need pointing in the right direction.
Any problems or concerns should be addressed to a mod or admin. The mods for the US Immigration forums are Noorah101, Bob, Avanutria, penguinsix and MsElui.
Please give me a shout if I can be of further help. I look forward to seeing you in the US forums.
