UK Police Officer jobs abroad
Hi,
I'm a UK GMP Police Officer wanting to Emigrate abroad. Need advice on applying, who will take an officer with 11 years experience and is 37 years old? Desperate for a change and to get out of the Uk Help thanks

Cross the US off.
Though this probably isn't the best approach to things.
You should be looking at countries that interest you and figure out how to get there because of what you like about that place, than settling for anything else, or to escape a place because you'll just find the same stuff in a different bucket other wise.
Anyway, good luck and welcome to BE!

why not try the thread "police" in the section Working Abroad By Profession? I've seen various posts there for police moving to the Caymans for example

Australia recruit police officers from overseas. A friend and his mrs have done just that. They move to Perth in a couple of months.

Abroad gets my vote for best place to emigrate to. What would you want to do there, as a change?

Hey thanks for the replies, Australia is my ideal destination but discovered Western Australia Police don't recruit officers with more than 7 years experience. So just hoping if and when South start recruiting from the UK they do!
